Review of 'Welcome to Lovecraft' on 'Goodreads'

Its this very dark comic with a big mixture of classic comics with a very adult twist. There isn't a lot of gore, but the gore they do use is done well. Its a really good read if you're into ghostly, demonic horror. Its a bit of a slow burn, but it picks up and does it nicely. I honestly didn't see a lot of things coming which is a first for me. I will say I got more alice in wonderland meets the shining moreover than anything Lovecraft but that's just me. Its definitely worth a try.
I can't really compare it to anything I've read or seen. Its very one of a kind.

I'm trying to read all the comics before I watch the show but not sure how long I'll hold out. Gabriel Rodriguez's artwork is spectacular and Joe Hill is fast becoming one of my favourite story tellers.
