This was a fun short read. I didn't quite expect the ending, but it made sense in some ways. Especially when I remembered that this is the same author as Gideon the Ninth.

So if you liked Gideon and you like fairy tales, give it a try. It's not a long read.

Charming novella. Think I would have appreciated it more at 14 than I do now, but definitely a fun afternoon read.
