I Found the other series Mercy Thompson books before I found this one, so my view of things is a bit off. For me this was a view into another part of the books in a Mercy Thompsons that I read vs the first series which this appears to be based on timeline.

Either way I enjoyed the different look into this universe, and was intrigued by the idea. This is a fun and interesting view into the world that is generated by these books and if you’ve only read the Mercy Thompson books you should enjoy this one.
