Every one of Mr Cawdron's books will have you thinking about the possibilities and about humanity. This one is no different. The Simulacrum explores so many aspects of what makes us human and how First Contact might occur, and yet I was still a little surprised at the ending. I loved this book and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about how science might lead us to the stars and about first contact scenarios.
