Fantastic book to onboard folks into democratic socialism! The writing style is extremely approachable, easy to understand, but also well-researched

Most of my reading tends to be politics and current affairs, but I'm a huge Tolkein fan and do enjoy the occasional fantasy novel. I read in "spurts" where I'll tear through 2 or 3 books then maybe go another month or three before picking up again.

The level of detail Tolkein incorporates into these stories never ceases to amaze me…from the landscapes to the languages of each race in Middle Earth, to say nothing about the lengthy and intricate histories of elves, men, dwarves, and even some of the notable creatures of Middle Earth.
