It is indeed a Funny Story - so much humour in the book, but also so much heart. Just wonderfully written and lots of plot points beautifully woven. A must-read!

A disturbing insight to one of America's notorious killers from a "friend".
It's quite open in it's retrospective of what kind of creature Dahmer is, as well as what the kind of attitudes are of at the time. On the one hand, you really feel for Dahmer, but on the other hand you cannot help but feel utterly creeped out once you know his actions.
