cute and packed with food and traditions

I don't care for misunderstandings in books and this one starts with a silly one right off the bat. Sure, it shows that Liya is an adorable ball of nerves but it was just annoying that they avoided it for so long. Anyyyyyywayyyy, I liked the descriptions of the many traditions and amazing foods. Also, the backstories of the other characters in the community were perfect.

if this book was an emoji, it would be <33 both characters were flawed and perfect for each other. I liked that some of the minor family plot points were figured out near the end. anywho, very nice! (I'm still mad a reggie tho, like whyyyyyyyyy)
