The Light Fantastic is a comic fantasy novel by Terry Pratchett, the second of the …

Better than the first

Preferred this over The Colour of Magic, mainly due to it having a single overarching plot throughout the whole book unlike the first which felt more like random adventures stuck together.

Excited to read more from Discworld as l've read these first two books are not "the best ones" in the series

Franz Kafka: Metamorphosis (2011, CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform)

Evidently a classic

Short and captivating read! I can see why it's a classic and can't believe I never read it before. Definitely a must read.

Anna Burns: Milkman (2018, Faber & Faber, Limited)

One of my new favourites

I read some complains about the writing style but that was probably the highlight for me. I don’t see any other way this story could have been told. The stream of consciousness structure of the story lets you deeply understand the main character, her feelings and actions, her fears and worries… it almost feels like you’re inside of her head.

Genuinely loved this book

Octavia E. Butler: Kindred (2014, Headline Publishing Group)

Intense read

This book was an intense read, genuinely making me feel stressed sometimes. I'm mostly left speechless. I don't even know how to describe the wide array of feelings this book made me go through. A must read, in my opinion.

Another great sequel

This series has kept me hooked all week. This book is yet another great addition which brings back some familiar characters and further develops their relationship with Murderbot. Comfortable and engaging read all throughout

Still engaging, still fun

Another great addition to the Murderbot series! As usual, fast paced and easy read but still very engaging and fun. Excited to read the next one!

It has a dark past—one in which a number of humans were killed. A past …

Great sequel with enjoyable character dynamics

Strong follow to “All Systems Red” that managed to captivate me just as well. The dynamic between Murderbot and ART is very enjoyable and the plot is enough to keep you hooked

Entertaining and easy read

Pretty short with only about 160 pages. The story is enough to make me want to keep reading more from the series!

Bringing his twin gifts of scientific speculation and scathing satire to bear on that hapless …

Amazingly crazy and sometimes fever-dreamish

This has been probably one of the best satirical sci-fi books I've ever read. It feels hopeless yet funny at the same time. The pace of it kept me hooked throughout. Started and finished reading it on the same day. Makes me want to read more from the series!
