As a queer person, it's not easy for me to appreciate a straight romance, but this one ended up feeling lovely to me.

As a person who was in relationship with a beautiful Mexican American man, and his complicated family, for four years, this story was a nostalgic and magical experience. I had forgotten how deeply and fiercely the people of that land pursue and enjoy their lives.

Delightful.

Delightful. I read it all in one day. The mythologic elements are subtly woven into the story, until suddenly there they are and you've been drawn into them fully.
