Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: Americanah (Paperback, 2013, PUBLICACOES D.QUIXOTE)

I liked the most of it. Some parts were pretty boring. I think there may be slight inconsistencies in Obinze's story but I may be confused.

Review of 'Urban Sketching Handbook : 101 Sketching Tips' on 'Goodreads'

Pretty concise and easy to finish in one day. Very useful explanation and tips regarding sketching in general and perspective in particular. At the end of the book there is a very useful list of contributing artists with their instagram profiles.

Review of 'Ikigai, little book of hygge and lagom the swedish art of balanced living 3 books collection setHéctor García' on 'Goodreads'

A disappointing uncritical self-help book that is full of platitudes and exoticism of Japan. A book titled Ikigai but is really a book about longevity. A long life doesn't necessarily mean a meaningful one. There is a complete chapter where the authors ask centenarians what is their secret for living beyond 100 years and the answer is the same; there is no secret. The book ends with saying that you have to find your Ikigai for yourself.

Hesitated a little before writing this review. I loved the book and Eleanor is funny and I liked Raymond who initially reminded me of Hagrid. But as you go this book becomes so difficult emotionally. I am not completely fine after reading it. Had trouble sleeping for a night after finishing it.
