I had never really seen the parallels to Andy Warhol until reading this book. The impacts of Andy Warhol and his Factory on the music I like is enormous: Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, Missing Persons, R.E.M., and now Kraftwerk! I ended up listening to each of the albums while reading the book, providing a whole new experience to the music. Highly recommended for any fan of Kraftwerk.
