Das Buch wurde mir von mehreren Leuten empfohlen, insbesondere die zweite Hälfte (bei der bin ich aber noch nicht). Es ist bisher inhaltlich interessant, aber man merkt, dass es ein Fachbuch ist, es liest sich deutlich besser als das durchschnittliche Paper in der Informatik, aber nicht so flüssig wie was populärwissenschaftliches.
Ich habs bis auf Seite 48 geschafft, dann musste ich das Buch weglegen und mir das englischsprachige Original herunterladen. Schrecklich geschraubte Sätze, sinnentstellend-unpassende Worte, mit ein bisschen Gefühl für (schlechte) Übersetzungen "hört" man oft noch durch, wie es im Original wahrscheinlich gemeint war... Aber dann kann man auch gleich das lesen.
Ich hatte mir nur die deutsche Version gekauft, um diese an Menschen weitergeben zu können, die nicht gut Englisch verstehen - überlege mir das aber nochmal gründlich, vielleicht wandert es auch in den Papierkorb.
Die deutsche Übersetzung ist die Katastrophe, ich versuchs mal auf Englisch weiterzulesen. Inhaltlich interessant, aber teilweise auch etwas fragwürdig.

Can recommend very much! I'm a bit over halfway through, and have found so many things I can relate to (and quite a few where my reaction was 💯💯💯). Have to set it aside after each chapter and write down all the things that I notice match my experience.
einerseits sehr lesenswert, definitiv eine neue Perspektive für mich, der es wirtschaftlich nie schlecht ging. es fühlt sich beim lesen manchmal komisch an, dass der autor in der situation auch nicht wirklich pleite ist, sondern quasi nur so tut, aber trotzdem spannend. auch sonst gibt es ein paar stellen zwischen "der autor irgendwas zwischen sehr direkt / unreflektiert" / "das buch ist nur mäßig gut gealtert", aber nicht zu viele. weiterzuempfehlen, wenn es einem mal in die hände fällt.

ich finde das gelingt ihr auch wirklich gut in den büchern, deshalb mag ich die so :)
