Hilarious & sweet YA sapphic romance w/ neurodiverse cast

Fun, quick read. Might even read again.

I appreciated that homophobia wasn't one of the major issues, even for a queer romance set in Florida. (Nothing wrong with writing about homophobia, but I think other books in the genre cover it plenty and variety is good!) Instead the book focused more on imposter syndrome, neurodivergence, biphobia, Margo's search for an identity in the queer community that fits her, and Abbie's struggle with her family's issues. Oh, and the classic sapphic "does she want to be friends or girlfriends" dilemma.

Looking at that list, it seems like this could be a really serious and intense book, but instead I was laughing every couple pages. Margo & Abbie are hilarious, Margo's family pets are absurd, and Manny & Robbie the extremely sincere feminist sports bros are "Too good for this world."
