Also:
maybe it's the German translation, maybe it's the mood, maybe it's its age, but I did not found the sentences to be poetic, the whole a literary treasure, in general, it felt more like he was trying too hard; tried poetry, but failed, tried elaborate sentences, but got lost, tried a genre braking (not supposed by him but stated by others) new story, but ended with something too assuming, too not-knowing what is out there and basically just too undescriptive.
