Maybe because I don't have the capacity to understand all the subtle themes Murakami hints at but I was lost during all six of these short stories. The whole book was like a dream, a dream that when one wakes up from it, they feel enlightened somehow but don't remember why they are. Well, I can't deny Murakami's wonderful writing style (which I quite enjoy actually) however, his storytelling is another thing. I feel like I should have read one of his longer novels instead.
