I really enjoy the way Sedaris writes, and these fables that demonstrate human foibles are no exception. I found myself wanting to like this book, however, more than I actually liked it. Perhaps it was more disturbing than funny, and I'm used to laughing more with Sedaris. Still, it's an easy read, and if you like Sedaris you should definitely read this.
