No Easy Day sets out to be purely documentarian in telling the story of the men to whom fell the task of bringing "justice" to Usama Bin Laden. It does a little more than that in enlightening the reader to the professional lives and mentality of the special community that the elected executive leadership of the United States turned to to accomplish this task. After a decade of war these true veterans and professionals had seen and done many terrible things. To them... the very human tools in the toolbox of national power... this raid was not unlike dozens they'd all done before. Only the high profile of their target is what allows this window into their world. In the silent shadows they soldier on...
