The last book in the Heritage of Shannara series does a good job in concluding the story started in the Scions of Shannara. Unlike thr previous book, this has a much better pacing and less downtime. The characters all have challenges to overcome and have all by this point unlocked the abilities of their talismans, making for cathartic reading as they finally manage to turn the odds in their favour.
