What Happens when bio-terrorism becomes a tool for corporate profits? And what happens when said …

Review of 'The Windup Girl' on 'Goodreads'

4 stars

A very disturbing and realistic view of the post fossil fuel age where stored kinetic energy, springs, power mst everything. Oil is gone, coal scarce, and genetic engineering has taken over the food supply with the seed suppliers (calorie companies) controlling the world's access to food. Thailand is a lst holdout and is losing the battle.

The people in this book seem very real, you care about them with their flaws and quirks, warts and all. I would call this social science fiction and I liked it very much.
