James Bowen: The World According to Bob (2014, Hodder & Stoughton General Division, Hodder Paperback)

Review of 'The World According to Bob' on 'Goodreads'

This book expands on what is an extremely heartwarming story; if you enjoyed the first book, you will almost certainly enjoy this! I wasn't quite as enthralled by it as I was the first (which I read directly before it), but the first book was a very tough act to follow and this one is still thoroughly enjoyable.

I've put the third book "A Gift From Bob" on my Amazon wish list and I hope James continues writing books so I can continue hearing about his journey up from the streets (and of course Bob!). However I suspect we might have to wait a while for the fourth book.

James Bowen: A Street Cat Named Bob. Film Tie-IN (2016)

Review of 'A Street Cat Named Bob. Film Tie-IN' on 'Goodreads'

I admittedly read this book after seeing the film. However that didn't reduce my enjoyment of this heartwarming story. It really brings you into James and Bob's world and the ups and downs of life on the street. Maybe it's just because I'm an animal lover, but I often found the book leaving me a little teary eyed, usually for good reasons.

On a slight side-note it is quite interesting to see how the story has been changed for the big screen.

Review of 'Worms to Catch' on 'Goodreads'

I may be biased as I'm a big fan of Guy and autobiographical books. However I thoroughly enjoyed this book and find the extreme level of motivation that Guy has intoxicating. His admittedly slightly unusual point of view on things is also refreshing, in a world where you seem to only ever hear about the same old news stories.
