Review of 'Sprinkle of Sorcery' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

A Sprinkle of Sorcery is the second book in Michelle Harrison's Widdershins series and as with A Pinch of Magic, I was captivated by the world you find yourself in.

I missed the Widdershins sisters, even though it was through choice that I waited a while between book so that I would be excited to return to the Sorrow Isles and Poacher's Pocket.

Betty, Fliss and Charlie are thrown into an adventure once more, and this time? There are pirates and stories of legendary treasures that as all pirates should know, but never actually remember because sparkles and riches? Is that you must leave treasure alone because there's nearly always a curse.

Michelle Harrison's world-building is phenomenal, and you can not only see the island of Crowstone, but there are also times when your other senses are awakened as you're lost to the trouble the three sisters get into. There are twists and turns that you don't see coming and I can imagine many a wide-eyed reaction to the events of A Sprinkle of Sorcery as well as great big smiles.

I can promise, you will be kept on the edges of your seat, because if A Pinch of Magic was incredible and capable of making you a fan of Michelle Harrison? Then this will blow you away - just remember don't be caught by those pirates or you'll be in trouble.
