Dude, I keep to "local" to try and keep to only FOSStodon posts for just that reason.

I never did social media other than masto for just that reason, but I guess people seek out more peaceful places to bring their misery.

Man, just talking about this crap makes me angsty.

I get that it's valuable to have those that do nothing but broadcast the bleakest crap out there. They're being watchful, I guess.

But if you're constantly posting #LateStageCapitalism-type-awfulness and never use a #CW, I think you're an asshole. :(

I am very tired of it too.

It seems like a lot of those same people have no idea of reality. Or they have their own vision of it that has no connection to reality.

On top of that, it's like no one looks at the other's posts. A lot of those posts are the same. exact. post., but they all feel special enough to post it, and feel they deserve recognition for it.

I get it folks, you're angry. I'm angry too. I don't need 500 copies of the same thing in my feed.
