Finally got around to reading this! I like the art a lot, especially the way Nina's eyes are drawn (fitting for a series with such a focus on eyes) I enjoyed the themes of fate & defying it. Nina is a very classic shoujo protagonist whose naivety and determination to keep all the people she loves happy are her greatest strengths and I love that for her. I don't think I'll keep up with this series all that regularly, I'll probably come back in a year or two and see what's happened.

Yeah, it's pretty cute.

I have read this before but my memories of it are completely mixed up with my memories of the other crossdressing villainess series with a very similar looking protagonist. I'll have to re-read it before adding it to my list.

Re-read this yesterday to remember what it was about for my villainess list. It really is cute! A very gentle hurt/comfort helping the fl work through her trauma with a background of magic politics & drama. It actually got bumped down on my list though because I'd completely forgotten about all the politics chapters and I found them really boring. All these characters have 0 planning and 0 strategy, and it's treated more like 'look at all this cool stuff that the ml does to protect the fl without her knowing' (If you're giving her a magic protection charm TELL HER IT'S MAGIC! or at least tell her maid if you don't want her to stress.). Maybe the upcoming arc will be better? Maybe it will actually involve our protagonist? we'll see.

quick read in a 15 minute break from work. When a story starts with the premise of a character agreeing to marry/enter a relationship with someone and then right after they agree it's revealed their partner is not the gender they thought they were it's got to work extra hard to win me over. This one did not. I'm glad we're getting more gay villainess stories, but I wish they didn't all suck so much.

I'd read the first chapter of this in the past and it didn't catch my interest then. I'm glad I came back to it! I enjoy stories of characters dealing with death, learning the shape of a person by the memories they leave behind... This one leans angsty more than introspective but it's fun nonetheless :)

Another one from the october transmasc binge. I'd need to flip through a copy of this to remember exactly what happens in it, but just generally I remember enjoying it a lot.

Read this during my transmasc manga binge back in october. It was fine. Pretty straightforward. I'm sure it's a story that would resonate with some people, but it didn't with me. It was nice to see a trans guy with big boobs I guess.

Continuation of the honest window into the author's life that doesn't shy away from portraying things as they are good & bad all rolled up in one. Brings up a lot of interesting points and unanswered questions to ruminate about.
