3.5 stars. Another solid entry of the Dresden Files, with plenty of callbacks to previous books, including the Beckitts from Storm Front and events from Blood Rites. As the series progresses, Harry seems to get more and more powerful, and more and more violent. Not sure what to think of it.

The really good Dresden books usually come up with dramatic revelations about Harry's backstory, and in that department I found this book lacking. There were hints that Harry is special, but nothing that had any wow effect on me.

If you liked the previous books, you will probably enjoy it as well, but it's not one of the strongest entries in the series. Still, I will keep reading, of course.
