Review of 'Throne of the Crescent Moon' on 'Goodreads'

Entertaining but mostly shallow book about a ghul hunter and his companions. When a particularly dangerous summoner of ghuls reaches for the throne in order to fulfill a dark prophecy, it is up to Doctor Alloud Mahkslood and his companions to stop the summoner. The companions include Raseed, a holy dervish, Zania, a nomadic girl who can turn herself into a lion, and a magician/alchemist couple.

It's a short book and a fast read, reminiscent of an Arabian Tale. I am curious to see where it will go next, but at the same time didn't think it was outstanding. Nevertheless, entertaining if you like Arabian-flavored sword-and-sorcery fantasy.
