I found this book to be disappointing compared with earlier Scarpetta novels. I guessed the ending very quickly, and the red herring was very obvious. Also, i thought the ending was rather lame, and i don't think i like what Cornwell has done with the relationships between Scarpetta, Marino, and Wesley.
