It seems the fantasy genre is over saturated these days, and it can be hard to find an original story. This book was the perfect blend of humour and darkness, and Sullivan didn't go overboard witht he blood and violence like I find some authors do. Like most good series, the story starts out simple and the universe slowly expands as the series progresses. I'll be interested to read the next installment in this series.
