I work in a little library in the big city. I love it here and hope to one day really get back into my backlog of books to read before George RR Martin finishes the next Game of Thrones book.

I'm a big self improvement nerd with reading tastes from Tolkien to Sanderson to GTD by David Allen to random occult titles, tarot books, and all of the graphic novels on Earth.

Review of 'Interspecies Reviewers, Vol. 6' on 'Storygraph'

This volume was heavier on plot development and world building but lighter on the sexual content it tries to balance it with. I'm not sure if the author is toning things down overall or if they're just cutting some of the more graphic illustrations to make space for the plot heavy segments.

The various stories in the book present about the same mix of shops for me; from some interesting concepts to be explored to another horrific scenario I couldn't really enjoy the artwork in. 

<spoiler>This time was the mantis shop. The author dumps you right into the middle of the experience, which is fine, but the next thing you know someone is having their fake head eaten quite gruesomely and that was just off putting to me.</spoiler> At this point, I think I read it more for the plot, world building, and interesting ideas over the sexual content, which …

Feels less explicit than previous volumes. Has some heart touching character development for one of the main characters.
