I read for many reasons, including to learn more about how the world is, to imagine how it could be, and to get lost in stories.

I like memoirs, sci-fi, history & historiography, poetry, investigative reporting, graphic novels & comics, fantasy, nature, how-tos and a wide range of fiction and non-fiction. Especially if they are well-written, insightful, funny, motivating, weird or immersive.
