This is a book about high school kids. It's appropriate for kids because it doesn't have any "adult content" or adult themes. I picked this book at random from the children's shelf at my library, and it got me hooked when I peeked inside. It's the first book I've read by Jerry Spinelli and I'll have to look for more. I read the book because I wanted to see if it would be a good one to read to my 10 year old daughter at bed time. It turns out to be a fantastically positive and exciting book in the first half, but then it gradually becomes more melancholy and sad by the end. I still gave the book a good rating because I liked it a lot, but I'm not sure if I'll read it to my daughter for now. But I might recommend it to her when she's …
