Brrr... new introduction time cause my old one is already outdated lol.

I am Sinclair-Speccy, your local resident computer nerd that can’t actually do a lot of tech stuff like people think. My primary interests are , , and . You’ll usually find me boosting retro tech content and occasionally posting it myself, mostly retro tech ads.

My interest in emulation all started when I managed to run Yggdrasil Linux from the '90s (I know, so interesting /s). Despite having used XP as my first OS other older OSes (mostly Linux ones) interest me more if you look at the media I've posted on my account besides the tech ads.

Though we may specialize in 16th Century Renaissance comedic theatre, sci-fi has been an important part of the troupe's growth and development with parodies from "Doctor Who" (including our mascot Dalek Skarino) to "Star Wars" (which almost has a commedia dell'arte plot) to "Star Trek" (celebrating it's 60th this year) and many more!

I know I'm late to the party, but as my Disney+ subscription is nearly over, I finally watched The Orville. I. Fracking. Loved. It.

It started out funny, and ended sweet and deep and tackling real life issues in a way Seth McFarland does so well.

Highly encouraged to watch if you like SciFi/Star Trek/Star Wars, as Seth pays homage to all of them.

Only took me 3 years to finish! It is 8x8 inches, 18 count Aida. Over 20,000 stitches/pixels.

I picked up cross stitch when sick with . As I got healthy, and ran out of a couple thread colors, I set it down. Did not pick it up until I went on vacation a couple weeks ago, and needed a project. And I finished it!

The pattern designer is Awesome Pattern Studio on Etsy, and they are a Ukrainian pattern maker. Love the use of color and color blocking. Have done a couple of her pieces and they are always striking.

Not sure I will do another all over cross stitch due to the amount of time they take, but I love the results.

I’m not sure I would call drowning in your own lung fluid “passing away peacefully”, but I guess if that’s the story they have to tell themselves.

I've decided to start this book, after watching the recent excellent video on the #StarWars Series #Andor by #transwoman youtuber Jessie Gender (www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjMsPsaVyr8), which cites this study multiple times. I also feel that this could be an interesting tengential approach to the issue of #autoritarism and #fascism, as it appears that George Lucas' political messages (because, yes, Star Wars has always been political and well, woke) is based more on a popular idea of what #dictatorship and #imperialism are based more than on pure historical and political science theory. This is like looking at something from the embossed traces it left on the ground. It might also help me choose my next readings on these topics, while making for a really agreable reading, as I'm now quite exhausted and not in the state to digest more complexe analysis.
