Denne traff hardt og bra. Eg kjente att båe farfar, far, og meg sjølv i Johannes.
Jon Fosse er veldig flink til å skrive om død og einsaman. Det er sterk kost i ei lita bok.
Det er ingen store tvistar her heller, men det er fine drypp over tid.

So as prep for reading #JonFosse #Septology (second attempt: I was cheap and time poor the first time and had to return the book - it's 830pp) I read the 100pp novella #AlissByTheFire. My mind was 🤯. Sharing the same narrative and stylistic elements as the bigger work this little book traverses time, memory, tragedy and constantly shifting points of view in a stunning way. Like a string quartet composed of a handful of notes continually repeated and transformed. Better clear the diary for the bigger work. @bookstodon #NobelPrize #Literature
