A good example of the thriller genre: a storyline with twists and andrenaline-inducing cliffhangers, characters that exemplify some stereotype--everything you'd expect from a thriller, no more, no less. It's lots of fun, though, and has enough intrigue to leave you puzzled and trying to make connections, and it all makes sense by the end. Believable? No. Life-changing? No. Exciting? Absolutely. Original? I've never read a story like this, and I enjoyed learning more about dinosaurs and the nature of their demise in an up-close-and-personal kind of way. Good stuff.
