I was hesitant to try this, there is a glut of wearwolf/vampire books out there, all of them pretty similar. Some funny, some scary, some chesty bursters and all that.
The universe created and the story told here was wonderful. I really enjoyed it. The universe was allowed to unfold slowly and from the perspective of someone who didn't know what was going on and that was an excellent start to the series. Looking forward to reading the rest
