I started this nearly a year ago... not because of the novel itself, I just, fell out of reading. I'm glad I finished the journey. I was immediately hooked by the general idea of the narrative but while the world was building and the stories intertwining, my interest diminished. It was harder to slug through, the story stalled out...
I came back to this book and much like my interest in reading, so did the story accelerate, all the pieces falling into place, delivering to me, what felt like a rewarding payoff. I didn't predict the twists, the turns, or the characters arcs and in the end, I really enjoyed this journey.
