I loved the way it’s written. I loved the story and the ending was perfect. Everything about this book was crafted to make you uncomfortable but also interested in what’s to come…
The middle third of the book was the reason for the missing star. A bit of editing would not have gone amiss, making the book a tighter read.
Not the first novel on cannibalism I’ve read this year. Tender is the Flesh was always going to set the benchmark high.
