Of Monsters and Mainframes

I liked it alot, even though there are vampires on board (which seems anathema to all scifi readers). Yet this particular type of story is about humans trying to settle in the galaxy, so of course they take all their human fears with them, which means vampires, werewolfes etc. Which, in this case, and this case only, fits.

Such a fun fun fun little joyful bundle of weird. All the old tropes but they are doing battle in space and there are some silly little romances and growth. Really reminds me of the stuff I read in my teens - fluff, but joyful fun fluff.
