This is the second part of the series that showed me how much I needed some crime-scifi in my life.
Again, I loved the different dynamics between the Colibri crew, the all around casual queerness, the fact that both Eddie and Richard experience physical difficulties which neither become the main focus of their characters, nor get either conveniently overlooked at times or turned into a cheap plot point.
This case felt rather darker than the last one, and not so much because of the attempted assassination of one of the main characters. Maybe having interstellar human racists felt a bit too realistic, especially in connection with enhanced super soldiers.
Will continue with the next part next month - and then hope that the author will publish the next part or the "spin-off" quite, quite soon.
