It's Christmas day in the morning, and all is calm, all is bright.
Or is it? Peter and his young niece Alice are unwrapping presents when they first hear it: a sound, long and loud and wrong, somehow.
The kind of sound that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stir.
The kind of sound that is a harbinger to grief, and suffering.
Screams, coming from next door.
Peter finds his teenaged neighbour cowering, terrified and blood-soaked in her hallway. Her mom and dad are nowhere to be seen.

Because someone, or something, has butchered the Morris family, and made peculiar festive decorations with their remains.
