The Sword of the Dawn is a fantasy novel by British author Michael Moorcock, first published in 1968. The novel is the third in Moorcock's four book The History of the Runestaff series, and the narrative follows on immediately from the preceding novel The Mad God's Amulet.

Après un voyage bien compliqué, Hawkmoon entre en possession de l'épée de l'aurore, qui lui permettra d'invoquer d'anciens guerriers pour en faire son armée. C'est distrayant, mais parfois quasiment insensé.
