fun read, gorgeous book design

wonderful memoir about the author's long career at mattel with full color photos of so many of her iconic designs. more personal than i thought it'd be but made for a much more interesting read. also i kept going "awww" at all the pictures of the little barbie dolls in their cute little era-typical fashions and posed at their little hair salon or car playsets, it was like a reflex. and now i want a bubble cut era barbie. or a mod barbie. both maybe.
