Crossroads of Destiny...

This short story reminds me a lot of a Twilight Zone episode, even had a twist at the end like classic TZ. There have been a lot of stories with similar ideas. It was well written, and was a quick read. I'm looking forward to reading more from H. Beam Piper so far what I have read has been really good stuff.
