Jim Liedeka reviewed America Before by Graham Hancock
Review of 'America Before' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
I'm glad I finally got around to finishing this. I've been reading Hancock for some time and watching his videos so there was a lot of information I've already seen. Two parts really stood out for me. The first is the discovery of henges in the Amazon basin that have been woefully unexplored by archaeologists. The second is the striking resemblance between the afterlife beliefs of the Mississippian and other Native American cultures with Egypt and Tibet. It brings to mind the Renaissance idea of a prisca theologia.
