Rick Osborne reviewed Guava Flavored Lies by J.J. Arias
Charming chemistry, annoying antagonism
5 stars
4½⭐️
I enjoyed:
- People taking the time to get to know each other
- People connecting over shared interests
- “Us against our families”
Not my jam:
- So much sniping and antagonism
- Asymmetric character growth
Also, Carrie Coello did a 5⭐️ job with the narration. The characters were easily distinct, and the energy was great.
