Review of 'Jupiter' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
Bova does a good job portraying the "classic" life forms that have been imagined to exist within Jupiter's atmosphere. He also portrays a good conflict between scientific rationalism and religious bigotry, something made more frightening because, largely, on his Earth, the bigots have won and are nicely in power. Rational people are somewhat of the underdogs. Nicely his protagonist in this book manages to straddle that particular fence.
