First off, it's an incredibly short book.

Secondly I read it because I've enjoyed the TV Series. There are significant differences between the TV show and this first novel. I'm intrigued enough to keep reading the next in The series but more to find the differences from the show than the fact it's a great book.

I can't quite put my finger why on the reason I'm non-plussed but I will continue the next one to see what happens
