Rob Warner reviewed Keep the Change by Steve Dublanica
Review of 'Keep the Change' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
Starts out raw, so you may want to skip the intro, and it has a couple chapters in the middle that are candidates for skipping as well (depending on your sensitivities--you'll know them when you see them).
This is a great followup to Waiter Rant, and explores in depth the subject of tipping, from its origins to its motives to its effects and current practices. Extremely readable, full of stories that entertain and reveal, Keep the Change moves along at a rapid clip. Dublanica doesn't shy from drawing conclusions, either, that reveal (and perhaps indict) human nature.
After reading the book, you'll be more educated about tipping, and you'll likely become a better tipper--and feel good about it.
