Review of 'The perk' on 'Goodreads'

This was a fun read--a page-turning thriller that's hard to put down. Fans of the genre will enjoy this book, and it has enough plot twists and turns to keep you guessing.

The characters lack the richness of Grisham's -- they almost come across as caricatures, with every trait taken to its extreme. You have to actively suspend disbelief to properly enjoy the story. Still, the story is engaging enough to merit the effort. I plan to read Gimenez's other books, and expect to enjoy them as well.
