Great audiobook. Hodgman clearly had a lot of fun recording it, and I had a lot of fun listening to it.

Like the previous two of John Hodgman's fake almanacs, THAT IS ALL contains some slower, less interesting sections that are still redeemed by the bright points of clever brilliance scattered throughout. I especially enjoyed the "Today in Ragnarok" narrative that was squeezed into (and often greatly expanded) the upper margins of every page in the book. I can't help but wonder what a book devoted entirely to this "last year of the world" story-line would have been like.
If not for John Hodgman's "Judge John Hodgman" podcast and his regular Twitter bits of comedy, I'd be disappointed that this has been declared his last compendium of fake world knowledge.
