Soft Skills is about all the skills that a developer (or really, any one) needs to succeed in life besides the actual technical skills.

Based on the title, I was expecting a treatise on teamwork, communication, leadership and similar skills. However, the book only touches on some of those skills and goes for a much wider interpretation of the term "soft skills".

There are chapters on personal development, finance, fitness and spirituality. The book is all over the place. The advantage of this is that it has a bit for every one. The disadvantage is that nothing is covered in depth.

Some of the advice is also questionable. Most of it is good, but the author admits (props for that!) he made most of his money doing pretty wild and risky real estate deals.
